Psychological testing, also called psychological assessment, can be helpful for determining diagnosis, understanding personality, assessing relationships, and other relevant issues.

• Career

The process of psychological assessment includes an in-person psychosocial interview followed by pencil and paper, computerized, and/or verbal testing (depending on the type of assessment). Next Dr. Eaton scores and interprets the tests and integrates the information into a report. Feedback is provided to the person who was tested so that they have an opportunity to ask questions and gain clarity about the test results.
